The best place in the Temagami wilderness to camp,
fish and hunt is at Papa John's Place. We have a
wonderful tent and trailer
campground with
hydro and non-hydro sites. Facilities for both men and women, newly
renovated washrooms are close at hand with hot
showers and flush toilets.
We have a sandy beach, diving dock, swings right by the beach, to make things
easier for Mom. When dad doesn't want to take the
boat out,
the kids can catch fish right off the docks. There's a
fish cleaning shack, campfire pits, which are great for roasting
marshmallows or just to gather around in the evening. We also have a
store with bait, tackle, ice and firewood.
Our acreage does not allow us to have a great many sites but what we
do have are the best of the best.
Our large shady non-hydro sites will take your breath away as all
are on the water. The view goes for miles and miles of water and
trees. Fishing can be done right from your campsite. A mountain of
trees overlook our large hydro and water sites.
