Temagami Family Retreats

Families love to Escape to Papa John’s Place because we provide a stress free vacation with memories that will last forever. It’s a simple as stepping out the cottage door to watch the mist rise off the water each morning, while you listen for the beautiful call of the loon.

The family park offers a sandy beach for building sand castles, a diving dock with slide for lots of fun in the water Canoeing, boating and paddleboats are available for exploring the quiet waters of the lake while you adventure off for a sunny shore picnic. Horseshoes is always a great game with either the family or the park, it will show off your skills or lack of!! 

Fishing can be done right from the dock or shore.  Papa Randy will always be available to give you a lesson in putting that worm on the hook and filleting your fish. He will also be around to help you take your fish off the hook and put it gently back into the water.
Catch and release is always a good option!

A community campfire is a great way to end the day.  Stories, music and laughter is always shared at the nightly campfire.

Hopefully we will not have many of these days but on those rainy days most of the cottages have TV’s for the sole purpose of playing your DVD’s and movies. Also available is a book library and a limited number of cards and board games.

We do have a small store with bait, tackle, ice, firewood, souvenirs and for some reason the ice cream tastes better in the north.

At waters edge you will find large campsites with an unbelievable view of the water.

We have 5 Hydro and Water sites available to make your stay comfortable and 4 non-hydro sites for those who enjoy nature at its best. The campground washrooms are second to none!!!! Because of our limited sites book early to avoid disappointment.
